Session timing matters when reading these pages
US regular trading runs 09:30–16:00 Eastern Time — evening in India — with pre-market and after-hours sessions either side. Earnings are frequently released after the close, so a large move visible outside regular hours is formed on thin liquidity and can look very different once the opening auction prints the next day.
