Cryptocurrency directory

Cryptocurrency pages use Binance spot market data and trade continuously — 24 hours a day, every day, with no market holidays. Prices are shown converted to Indian rupees at live mid-market rates. Volatility here is materially higher than in equities, and these markets are unregulated in many jurisdictions.

How crypto pages differ from equity pages

There is no exchange session, no settlement cycle and no market holiday: pricing is continuous, so a chart never gaps at an open the way an equity chart does. There are also no earnings, dividends or balance sheet to reference, so the statistics shown are limited to price, ranges, volume and market capitalisation. Weekend liquidity is thinner than weekday liquidity even though trading never stops.

Volatility and regulatory status

Realised volatility in cryptocurrencies is materially higher than in most listed equities, and drawdowns of a size that would be extraordinary in a large-cap stock are ordinary here. Regulatory treatment differs by country and continues to change; in India, gains on virtual digital assets carry their own tax treatment. AlgoInsight does not provide tax advice and does not custody, exchange or transfer any cryptocurrency.

What drives prices on these pages

Supply schedules such as fixed issuance or halving events, on-chain usage, exchange liquidity, funding rates in perpetual futures markets, and broad risk appetite all feed into price. Because there is no cash flow to anchor a valuation, sentiment plays a larger role than it does in equities — which is exactly why these pages stay observational and never state a target.
